Description

Originally designed in 1972, the Omstak is considered a quintessential icon of the "High-Tech" design era. Designed by Rodney Kinsman and produced by Bieffeplast, these chairs are a masterclass in industrial minimalism, comprising a slender tubular steel frame paired with a durable epoxy-coated pressed steel seat shell.

A key figure in the British High-Tech movement, Kinsman’s work focused on structural honesty and mass-production efficiency. The Omstak’s stackable, lightweight and incredibly strong profile made it a staple of 1970s modernist interiors and it remains a celebrated example of 20th-century British design.
